TERRY HOFF

CHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICER

Terry’s electric utility career spans over 40 years with multiple electric utilities and numerous leadership positions. Terry began with PSI (Public Service Indiana) in 1981 as an engineer. He then moved on to sales/marketing and eventually earned his position as Superintendent of Operations. He held the title of Area Manager of Operations before the PSI/Cincinnati Gas & Electric Merger. Terry continued with Cinergy as Area Manager of Operations and would also be named General Manager of vegetation management. After the Duke Energy/Cinergy merger he became the General Manager of Transmission, Distribution and Substation Operations for Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky.

Terry briefly retired from the electric utility industry until he was asked to serve as Vice President of electric utility operations for NIPSCO in 2015. Terry would continue as Vice President until 2018 when he started UTS Engineering and took the role of Chief Operating Officer.

Terry is also considered a successful entrepreneur having created several successful companies. When he is not creating solutions in the utility industry or starting a new business venture, he enjoys spending time with his family in southwestern Indiana and Montana.
